BIOGRAPHY

Christine was born in France and has shown a love for Art from a very young age. She grew up in Paris where she studied History of Art and found inspiration from so many artistic resources and galleries.

She is a self-taught Artist but has attended local classes at the University of Hertfordshire, Insight School of Art in North London and the Edinburgh Academy of Realistic Art.

The seascapes and landscapes are created from a place she has visited, a photograph, a memory, a moment in time, an emotion.

Her inspiration comes from the simplicity of nature, the atmosphere of a place and the contrast between light and dark. She tries to achieve a sense of calm providing an opportunity to escape the chaos of day to day life and appreciate the wonder of open spaces.
